The Trump Organization has completed its purchase of the Doral golf resort and spa for $150 million, the company announced Monday.
Trump purchased the resort from hedge fund Paulson & Co. and Winthrop Realty Trust after Doral was among five resorts placed in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February 2011. In October 2011, Trump submitted a bid for the resort valued at $170 million. Morgan Stanley subsidiary CNL Hotels & Resorts Inc. previously owned the resort, purchasing it for $501 million in 2007.

Tiger Seal: 'Woods Planned To Join Navy Elite'
Tiger Woods had seriously considered giving up his golf career to become a Navy Seal, according to a new book.
The 36-year-old's former swing coach Hank Haney makes the revelation in his soon to be released book The Big Miss.
Mr Haney writes that he tried to convince Woods - whose father Earl was a special forces soldier in Vietnam - not to go on secret training exercises with the Seals but says the golfer was obsessed with joining the Navy's elite fighting unit.
The coach said he told Woods that Seals cannot not be older than 28, hoping to show him it was a pointless ambition.
But he said Woods responded: "It's not a problem. They're making a special age exemption for me."

Plane Crashes On Lewiston Golf Course

SPOKANE, Wash. - Sunday afternoon just before 6:00pm, the Lewiston Dispatch Center received a report from the Lewiston/Nez Perce County Airport referencing an imminent plane crash.
SPOKANE, Wash. - Sunday afternoon just before 6:00pm, the Lewiston Dispatch Center received a report from the Lewiston/Nez Perce County Airport referencing an imminent plane crash. The Lewiston Police responded with the Lewiston Fire Department.
The Plane was located in a field northwest of the Bryden Canyon Golf Course. The Pilot, 65 year old Gerald Bradley of Breckenridge Colorado, was able to get out of the plane on his own and was not injured.
The plane was a 1979 Piper PA-18-150 Fixed-wing Single-Engine aircraft registered to Bradley.
Bradley was in a group of four aircraft headed to Spokane, with a final destination of Alaska.
The group had to detour to Lewiston due to weather. On approach to the airport Bradley lost power to his engine and had to put his plane down in the field.
The Federal Aviation Administration will be responsible for the investigation.
